ATTENTION: YOU MUST HAVE SPOTIFY INSTALLED ON MOBILE DEVICES & PCs TO ENJOY MUSIC LINKS!!
My blog is about extremely rare and forgotten classic music and movies ONLY! I am a multicultural blogger that happens to be gay. Therefore, please don’t turn away from my blog assuming all I will be talking about is gay things, this is NOT the purpose of my blog! Neither will you find any inappropriate imagery anywhere on this site! My blog is pretty much child safe, in comparison to the garbage children are allowed to hear and see today! As a result of many prejudices I faced as a gay male, I felt that it is necessary to dedicate one page to positive LGBT people. Homophobic people need to understand LGBT people’s contribution to all societies; therefore this is NOT “promoting” of any lifestyle.
Below were/are known openly as lesbian, gay, transgender, transexual, androgynous, gender bending, and bi-sexual people from all walks of life, working/worked to change the world’s perception about us as LGBT people. We’ve always been here, and we’re here to stay. You can’t “faith us way.” This is not a phase so get the fuck over it already and move on. It is now 2015, we have much more to worry about around the globe, than to put so much emphasis on someone’s sexual attractions (that doesn’t involve the opposite sex). Just grow the hell up because your children are learning from your behavior. Stop the foolishness and do something constructive for your community. Acting like a childish A-hole gets you absolutely nowhere in life. Gays and lesbians are not aliens. If you take a moment to stop wagging your gullet, you may actually find out that most of us are pretty nice people.
I’ve worked very hard to find and present these positive images to you. I hope my first time gay visitors can see how important it is for us to be proud of who they are; and I also hope that these same positive images help dispelled the many backward heterosexual notions that being gay is all about sex and perversion. I’ll say this, every time I hear about some horrible sex-capades happening in the churches on the news; I don’t believe I’ve ever seen any church member boycott their own church because of it, but they will break their necks to stop two gay people from loving each other. Makes absolutely no sense. Yet you want to exercise some demons? Your looking all over the place, and you can’t see most of them are in your own church. We are real people just like you, the only difference is who we love. End of story! Hope you enjoy the images.

Divine – Comedian, actor, drag queen, and female impersonator.. Divine was an absolute icon in the gay world. However, in terms of his much older movies (“Pink Flamingos”, and “Female Trouble”) In my opinion were both horrible and in very poor taste. The kind of movies he’s done early in his career were so awful, I wouldn’t even put them in a B-movie category. Every time I’ve watch his earlier movies I’m left thinking… WTF?). It goes without question, not everyone had a taste for Divine’s brand of comedy, including myself. However, that changed for me when I saw him in “Lust In The Dust (1985)“, this was a funny *ss movie (just to give you fair warning, some scenes are not appropriate for children). I also loved him in “Hairspray (1988)“, which later on was remade in 2007 with John Travolta is Divine. To my understanding Divine was hired to be on “Married With Children”, but he died of a heart-attack shortly before filming. Amanda Bearse was hired in his place. I was so saddened, cause I knew if divine was still alive, he would have made that show even funnier than it already was.

Luther Vandross – Singer and Songwriter. I think it was so sad that Luther lived much of his life closeted. From the moment I saw him, I knew he was SGL. I’m sure a lot of it had to to with his record label advising him NOT to come out. Back then, most publicists and record companies felt it would ruin a gay person’s career to do so. I guess especially Luther, as his entire career was built on romantic music catered to the str8 audience.
Rip Taylor – Actor and comedian. Was a VERY flamboyant comedian (however, not gay comedy) in the 70’s -80’s. Personally, he wasn’t my favorite comedian; he was way too hyper for my taste, but his silliness made him funny. I guess it was his way of engaging his audience.

Inducted and allowed to reenlist more than once despite knowing he was gay, they suddenly decided to kick him out after more than a decade of service. 9th Circuit Court of Appeals ordered his reinstatement on the basis of fairness in 1989; Supreme Court denied Army certiorari. It is my understanding that James Dean dated Sal Mineo at one time. This is a very cute little video that a fellow Youtuber put together. Click Here.
This is one of James Dean’s early screen test. This clip screams homo-erotic. However don’t worry, I didn’t find this clip to be offensive, or in bad taste. It is clearly two very young gay men who are comfortable with themselves on camera set. Click here.

Unfortunately Rock Hudson not only contracted A.I.D.S. during the peak of his career, it was also at a time when very few doctors knew what it was, much less how to treat it. It was also at a time when it wasn’t advised that celebrities “come out”, because it was thought to ruin careers. I remember HUGE headlines in the newspaper and TV, on how frightened Linda Evans was (best known for her role in “Dynasty”) because she was very intimate with him on camera.
